Some people snap after one bad landlord. We lasted longer than that.
Between us, we've got decades in the trenches — one as a long-time renter who learned every trick for documenting damage, chasing repairs, and surviving lease renewals that somehow always went the wrong direction. The other spent years as a maintenance manager, stuck in the middle between tenants who needed things fixed yesterday and property owners who approved nothing and questioned everything.
We've been on both sides of the door. We've written the work orders. We've waited on the work orders. We've sent the emails that got ignored, made the calls that went to voicemail, and sat in units that were "move-in ready" by absolutely nobody's definition.
What we never found was a place that said what we actually felt about all of it.
So we built one.
Unit Unhinged is merch for the people who live this every day — renters who are done being polite about mold, landlords who are exhausted by calls about light bulbs, and vendors who have been waiting on that check since before you can remember. We're not here to pick sides. We're here because all three of you deserve something that finally says it out loud.
Every product starts with a real moment. A real text. A real work order that was never completed. A real notice that said absolutely nothing useful.
